The customer service was great. We were able to ship our luggage from there to Tokyo. They helped us get a big enough cap for our group. The breakfast was actually tasty. The rooms were small but not Tokyo small. They had tasty lemon water. I wish it was always available . The toiletries in pajamas were easy to grab every day. They had laundry available if you needed it. We didn’t use it.

This is a larger hotel room by Japanese standards, though still relatively small. The hotel is really well equipped, with a downstairs chill out space offering free coffee. The staff are friendly and very helpful, speaking good English. It's a five minute Uber to the train station and a five minute walk to local tube stations. A great hotel in Kyoto.

The room was spacious with 3 single beds. The bathroom was a bit small but functional. What I liked best was they were all super clean! Breakfast was good and the self-service laundry room was useful for us.

We had a family room, so the room was very spacious and modern. Floor beds were awesome with a small kid. Overall everything needed was there. Location was good. 20 min walk to Kyoto Station or 5 min by bus (leaves directly in front of the door). Stores and restaurants in walkable distance. Coin laundry was very practical and easy to use. Value for money is great.

The accommodation was overall fine and as described. However, we were a bit bothered by the noise from the air conditioning or fan, which was constant throughout our stay. It might have been unlucky room selection, but it was impossible to sleep without earplugs. As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfast area was overcrowded and not very comfortable, though the food selection was good. The hotel’s location is excellent, with many interesting places nearby and easy access by bus. Thank you very much for the stay.

Good value for the price. The rooms are small, but that's standard in Japan, and they are comfortable. The breakfast is good, and transportation is easy to the main attractions in the city. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Nakagawa, at the front desk. He went above and beyond helping us with the checkout process and with shipping our bags to a pickup destination.

Spacious, clean, great breakfast, and friendly staff. Japan never fails to amaze me—you can even do self check-in using a touchscreen monitor! The staff were brilliant as well, as they could speak English. The location is decent—you can take a bus (e.g. bus 80) to Gion. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and great value for money.

Excellent facilities, location, and customer service. Cozy lobby, with coin laundry; with free coffee 24/7. Spacious room Bus stop going to Kyoto Station is right in front of the hotel. They have a list of nearby resstaurants to choose from. They assisted us for our luggage transfer to oir hotel in Tokyo (picked up 1 day before checkout) Wide choices for buffet breakfast. (Became full during peak hour 830-930 during our Christmas stay there but the lobby had extra space for dining to as needed) Had gifts for kids for photos from sights in Kyoto

Take the number 9 bus from Kyoto train station for 3 stops, and walk for a hundred or so metres before arriving at the hotel. Very clean, sufficiently spacious, kettle, green tea, generous breakfast is included. Three washing machines which also dry and aa vending drinks machine available. Complimentary perfumed water and coffee from afternoon to midnight.
